Default 89 accord auto slipping

today it stayed in first for a while and it finally changed then later on in second it started to slip. is this the end..

whats the deal here clutch packs worn or is fluid low "will check tomorrow"
solenoids sticking? i recently changed fluid 1800 Miles ago.

i was told about a additive i can use to help with slipping any ones tryed this?

my wife wants to keep it auto so manual conversion not option.
from searching seems theres no other auto trans that are stronger from Honda that i can swap.

if i rebuilt it is there no aftermarket support for it better clutches etc?

cheers
Chris.

i used 12oz of this stuff called transmedic its made by gunk.
it helps eliminate slippage, restores smooth shifting, reduces wear.

so i checked my fluid and it was at level so at least its not leaking.
then i had to drain 12oz of atf to put in the transmedic simple..

well i warmed the car up and went for a 15min drive nothing happened no slips etc
im defintly not saying my problem is solved maybe temporey deleayed.

can anyone give me info as to what could be going on im thinking clutch disks etc

cheers
chris
