Default Front bumper license plate bracket holes

I just recently purchased a 05 S2k and it doesn't have a front license bracket on it. It was a Florida car...I noticed the holes in the front bumper where the bracket would screw into are not threaded...There's nothing to screw them into...Now im worrying that the bumper was replaced.. i ran a carfax and nothing came up on it. I mean should I worry? Do i have to take the bumper off to get behind there?

I just did some investigating..it is definitely a different bumper. The holes are flat on the bumper. Shouldn't they be a little raised so the caps can go right over them? The caps should still fit cause they have those little prongs behind them. I really dont want to get a ugly bracket maybe I can relocate it. Can someone post pics of their relocated plate?

relax... take a breathe... just cuz it has an aftermarket bumper doesnt mean it got into an accident... i bought a relocation bracket off ebay for $15 put it inside the bumper opening and offset it to the left side so its all gangsta...
