I have 2000 s2000 I was at the track today after couple runs the car started cutting off at 7000 rpm no check engine light vtec is still loud. Did anyone have this problem before thanks?

Mods are just intake and cat back exhaust

 

sounds like its still cold but you say it did it after a couple runs, doesnt make sense cuase its deff not cold.

 

is the car low on oil?

 

Like it would shut off at exactly 7k rpm's in any gear?

When the car is cold the car is perfect it has a perfect compression but after 30 minutes of driving when I check the compression it started losing and it cuts of at 7k. Car is in the mechanic shop right now and they also can’t tell what’s wrong with the car. The car doesn’t over heat or anything like that you can drive the car just doesn’t have enough power and its cuts of at 7k.

 

Check the valve seals and seats!
