Building Ls/VTEC
Right now im running Ls/V with Brian Crower stage 2 cams, stock bottom end, and everything else is stock exept for the cams. When i got it tuned they said my car wont make as much power as it should because, the cams are made for high revving. The stock bottom end wont let the car rev that high and when VTEC hits the car actually bogs and the car pulls right after it hits until about 7k. So as of right now im only making 169 HP.
So im planning to install some CTR pistons, and the rest of the bottom end is gonna be stock. Can someone give me some advice on what i should do to the motor?
Any info would be great.

I would recommend balancing the roatating assembly to take advantage of those cams and rev higher safer...Also You might want to use Itr pistons instead of Ctr, the compression ratio may be a bit high for pump gas with ctrs, not sure but I would look into it!

I rather opt for ITR or even P30 pistons to up CR a bit but still safely run 93oct gas..replace rod bolts with ARPs for added insurance if you're planning to rev higher to compliment your cams.
