Hello, I have a 97 del sol with a trans planted B16A2 engine, i bought it this way. I changed the head and now the VETC won't come in at all. I reused the original solinoid. How do I troubleshoot the system, electical and hydraulics? I looked in FAQ but didn't really find anything. Any advcie would be appreciated, thank you.

 

ur del sol could of probably came stock with the b16a2 as they did came out in 1996-1997 obd2 sols and well ur check engine light should be on with an inoperative vtec solenoid but u will have to use a scan tool to see what code it is...hope i helped....

 

Did it throw a CEL code???
