The USDM ITR pistons provide a compression ratio of 10.6:1 whereas the JDM ITR pistons are slightly higher at 11:1.
The black coating on the piston skirts is molybdnum (sp) based adn is supposed to reduce friction with the cylinder walls.
The bore size needed depends on the condition of the cylinder walls, I believe the stock bore is 81mm.

JDM is 11.1:1
the molybdenum coating absorbs and retains oil to help reduce friction.
Max bore 82mm on stock sleeves
