Default ** Sum a Lil differernt ** Bringing back the OLD**

First and foremost i want to say HI to all the old homies and homettes... SOrry... I dont hang out like i used to or even post.. i lurk more then anything.. I have kept in touch with a few and know ive been lost for sometime now...
For those who dont know I am now back in the big bad 310.....
and here is what i have been working on..
Had it 2 years but it sat for over a year and i have been attacking it steady for the last 3 months...
so here she is...
after some toying around i got the rear end fitted....
Toyota Mini van diff with 4:30 gears
Bogart wheels on 24.5 slicks

installed the front brake set up and mounted on the car

pressure washed the undercarriage and painted it

my 5gal. aluminum fuel cell

and thanx to my friend Marcos at teh SR20STORE.COM i got my motor and clutch delivered.

got around to doing a few things this week and today i mocked up the motor in the bay, needs some minor things but looks like i will have to do a tranny tunnel so i will be cutting away here soon.....

mounted my intake manifold

my material for my turbo manifold, i will mock up and make it once the motor is sitting where it needs to be.

and today as she sits

today i installed the side rear glass back on, mounted the FMIC and radiator to check clearances.

today i started mocking up the turbo location...

here is a picture before the final mock up i finished last night.
i will complete it this week and will update then...

and a peak at whats to come for 2010...

started the tunnel today and swaping my bell housing

manifold is complete, but need to clean up some welds as i was having a bad day, but for the most part is done just needs the wastegate elbow.

and a little teaser for you....

ACT stage 5 mounted today... still playing with the tranny tunnel. hope to have it buttoned up by the weekend

as my dad would say " llego el Truck" ( " the truck has came " )
-8 fuel line 20ft

850cc injectors, Fuel rail

Fuel Pump

blow off valve

power TB 75mm for a mustang ( flange made by my dad Santos Turbo )

Lug nuts

front wheels as they will look

rears came in

another stop by the truck today and left my front runners...

today i mounted the new rims and tires...

here is the final of the manifold i made... just need to place the wastegate elbow...

today i attacked the intake manifold to weld the mustang flange for the 75mm TB....
went from this

to this..

finally finished the manifold , had to do the wastegate elbow...

and another stop by the ups/fed ex truck...

Hello Kevlar....

started back up on her in aug. but 90% of the things posted here has happened within the last month...

nice build, you got a lot done in a short time, nothing beats big power with small wheel base, should be fun to drive

Can I say I hate you without offending anyone? I haven't seen a Japanese car of that vintage, as clean as that since I was a kid. god I hate living in the rust belt
