i dont use carfax and should of posted that i was referring to autocheck reports by experian which actually went up a few bucks from when i paid for unlimited reports earlier this year...!!!

i thought CarFax was cracking down on people doing this? or was it just if you pay someone to use their CarFax?

yeah they are either if you are doing it for free or for money if they find out they will charge you the normal amount for the cars that are suspected

 

That's dumb. Car history should be free, for safety reasons. I think n a few years it will be required with the pinkslip when a car is purchased

Well i'am not willing to pay 30-40 bucks to see a report,i already bought the car and just wanted to see the history.Its not a big deal. Thanks for ALL the positive replies,this is why i don't get on these forums,everyone is a know it all smart ***

 

so you would rather buy a car that cost $XXXXX and not pay 30-40 (and beg online)dollars for unlimited a month and check cars that you own and or are interested in buying.
