Default code 1 (o2 sensor) problem

ok, so as many of you guys know i had a bad idle problem a short while back. replaced vacuum lines, iacv and finally adjusted the fitv and fixed the idle problem. now shorty after i received a CEL code 1. now i have done the following:
1. replace o2 sensor with new one
2. check timing
3. re-start the ecu
4. swap out my Fuel Pressure Regulator (Per Shop manuals suggestion)

and now i still have the CEL. is there something im missing? i know when i had an adjustable FPR in my old Z6 89 HB i would get a check engine light for the same code when i ran too rich. but i currently have a stock FPR. i am thinking of installing the adjustable one now. any suggestions?

lol bump for this. I had a code 45 for running rich. Replaced the main o2 sensor, got code 1 and 45. i reset the ecu again and got 71 and 72, misfire cylinders 1 and 2. Reset a third time, everything went away for about 50 miles. Now Code 1 for O2A Oxygen Sensor is on.

Have you tested the O2 wiring? Run a new wire from the O2 directly to the ECU and see if that fixes the problem. (dont forget to reset the ecu)

i have this same problem, ive just kinda learned to live with it, sic of throwing parts at it and not fixing it, dont have the money for that anymore, i replaced plugs, wires, dizzy cap, rotor, 2 new fuel filters, new pump strainer, all this helped a bit but still same thing, im thinking mines the regulator, i have it adjusted all the way up and my pressure is only at 30 psi

my pressure is good. im at 38psi. wiring is new but im gonna recheck the solder points. im using an obd1 jumper harness so all that wiring should be good. ill check the solder points before i head out to do an oil change in the crx and EJ8.

have you checked your injectors yet leaky injector ???? ps have you done a voltage test on the o2 to see if you are running rich or lean

no voltage test yet. injectors are fine, if one was bad i think i would get a code 16 or 17

What is this voltage test you speak of? are you just testing if it has any output? As far as I have read, the O2 sensor shows very low voltage output and it fluctuates all the time. The only way to really test an O2 is with an oscilliscope to see the voltage cycles and fluctuation. (If you use a digital multimeter it will just constantly show the numbers changing but that wont give you any info.)

O2 sensor voltage test I believe Are in ohms and to test it if I remember right is at idle and at wot. I think .04 and below at dle and .06 and above a wot. I was reading up on it acouple days ago in the shop manual

its just tell you if the 02 is giving out a good signal check at idle then remove the vacuum line at the fpr there should be a significant change telling you that your o2 is capable of picking up the rich readings. its just a quick ref the oscilloscope is better(graphs) but are harder to come by

Are you running a header?
If so, try a stock manifold and see if you still get the code.

idk im running a dc header also, still having the same problem, but for some reason when i get the CEL the car is way more responsive and quicker, usually ill get it at WOT and it will feel like i just hit boost as soon as it comes on, idk whats up with that
