Map sensor problems, replaced now worse
I think my old map sensor was bad, so I just replaced it with a new one with the tie wrap kit. I unplugged the battery before starting to clear my ecu since I had a CEL active. When I started the car back up it started shaking a bit and there was an awful lot of exaust fumes and it stunk like gas. The engine also started making almost a pinging sound, I was thinking it was because the ecu was adjusting to the new map sensor that wasnt faulty. After running it for less then a minute I got worried and turned the car off. I have a video of the sound, sorry for the bad quality its off my blackberry.

Sorry again for the bad quality, I wasnt trying to show anything. I was just trying to record the sound. My question is should I let the ECU try to readjust to the new map? I was worried cause it sounded like something was very wrong with my motor.
Ok im an idiot, I just looked at the parts diagram and realized I forgot to put the gasket back in. The car is running fine now, im just hoping the CEL doesnt come back on.
