Default My DB6 in the works. lmk what u think, and any advice is welcome, thanks

So I recently converted my 4 door to a Db6, i believe thats what it is. well thats what the jdm badge says. Not to hard of a swap.

I converted because i always wanted to, and well i hit the back of an explorer. so it was cheaper to swap. if i did the work.

I realize it doesnt look to hot at the moment, but keep in mind me and my gramps did the swap and realigned the cowl and frame, in all of 2 weeks and maybe was 12 hours in all of work.

Car
-94 obd1 4 door integra, currently has 153,000 original miles
-automatic tranny(thinking of leaving it to **** everyone off, and for 1/4 runs, looking to boost, and get no lift shifts.)
-15" inch konig feather, black with toyo spectrum 205/60/15
-new front rotors and brakes
-ITR front end swap
-short ram intake
-tenzo R driver seat
-Pioneer deck, and all new speakers all around
-2 12" rockford subs
-magna flow muffler and some tip..

i realize i dont have alot in it. but my system was around a 1500$, front end was around 1500$, car was 3600$, wheels and new tires were somewhere around a grand.

plans
b18b1 boosted
ct26 turbo already have it and polished up and no end play.
d2 coilovers with blox lower control arms and skunk2 front and rear camber kit, with megan upper strut bars rear and front.
itr db6 wing or gsr sedan wing... opinions on this ??

any way here is some pics, of the process and the car so far, and before.

i ll just post where i have pics already and maybe post up actual pics later

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...lbumId=2925800

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/inde...lbumId=2846958

recent pic of engine bay

So i am shooting for a clean look and need everyone's opinion on alot
help on these
gonna get new wheels looking at some kyowa 17" in gold. http://www.wheelsnext.com/wheels-rim...d%20Gloss.html

ya/ or no.. on looking good..?

also was looking at splash guards for all four wheels..? oem style.?
and can you put the rear itr louvers on a non gsr style bumper..?
gsr style wing or itr wing?
and i already bought black and silver honda emblems cause everyone over does the red ones.

any other sugestions would be awesome. i realize my car isnt the coolest, but its my baby.

Props on you and your grandpa for installing the front end. Don't worry about what we think just do what you think looks good. But if you really want some opinion.. I would start off by lowering it, def paint the front end to match the rest of the car and get rid of the pin stripe.

all plans already for next semester. its a little cold, to paint right now.. and i hate the striping.. gonna pull it off one day and the whole car is gonna get sprayed i think. gonna go get quotes for it..

but its like 220$ to paint the front end myself. and plan on it getting dropped on some d2 coils and blox lower control arms and skunk 2 camber kits. lol

IMO stay away from 17" wheels. They are too big to look good, esp. with stock brakes. They tend to make the brakes look ridiculously small, and it doesn't look good if you can see through the wheels too well. Plus, they can weigh 25-30 lbs. each (esp. cheapos like those), so your vehicle weight and unsprung weight go up A LOT. 15" or 16" is better, but that's just my opinion. It's your car so do whatever you think looks good.

good advice. maybe i ll just stick with the feathers i have, or try and find some blades, or something. but i think the will look good, see this is a 4 door. so its gonna look different no matter what. and honestly i think 17 are needed. with them tucked.

like this type r accord. http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w...IMG_0767-2.jpg

It's all what you want. 17's aren't really my style but I can still appreciate the fact that people like them. Check this site out if you're still shopping:

www.wheelweights.net

It's got A LOT of different wheels and it may help you find ones that balance weight/size/price/looks (as long as you crossref. the price and looks of the wheels in the database yourself). Rota wheels tend to be fairly light and cheap, and TireRack makes some wheels I just found out about that are also light and cheap (TRM is the brand). Both make some that are good looking IMO with multiple finishes and many sizes. TireRack also can sort the wheels they sell by weight and price, although they don't have the best selection IMO.

Edit: since the current wheels may actually be pretty heavy already, a wheel swap could actually be a performance enhancer for you (stock GS-R wheels are already pretty light so it's hard to do better than them from that perspective).

Then you aren't going to do any better than that. IMO keep those and paint them if you really need a new color.

planning on boost, but not with v tec.. porting and polishing a normal ls head will flow just as good or better than a ls v tech head.

either gonna run a ct26 mkIII supra turbo or a t2 or t25 from a 200sx or sr20.
