ok so i bought an oem ef equalizer...it cam with the harness and i plugged it into the back of my oem cd player.....its a honda deck...manufacture year is 1998 so idk....it plugged right in but it doesn't light up or anything...radio still works but noting on the equalizer itself....is it the radio? why won't it work?

 

are you sure that the equalizer is working fine when you bought it?

i bet that is the power supply. check the fuse and check the wirings with a tester
