what size tire for 15X7 +35 offset?
just got some enkei's 15X7 with a +35 plus offset. im putting them on a 92 prelude lowered about 2" with gc's/Tokico Illuminas. my question is whats the best tire size to get? and will i have to roll my fenders?

Depends on what you are looking for, personally I like a meaty tire. You can run a 195/50/15, 205/50/15 OR if you have some decent fender clearance 225/45/15.
The 225's may require a fender roll, not sure on that one.
205's should be a safe bet if you are not planning to slam the car and actually enjoy driving it.
What he said is the CORRECT size. Mine are just suggestions based on previous exp.

That's BAD ADVICE. Those tire sizes are MUCH TOO SMALL for a '92 Prelude, and are not the best sizes to use. Remember, tire sizes that work on Civics or Integras do not necessarily work on other cars. On a '92 Prelude, stick with 195/60-15 or 205/55-15.
its a prelude si, swapped over to h22 vtec if that matters or not. but what you said makes sense i was gonna go with some 195/50/15's i found for cheap but now i know why there so much cheaper then the other sizes.
Yup, 195/50-15 are a lot smaller. (That's the size older Civics use.)
195/60-15 and 205/55-15 are close enough to each other that you could use either size on either model. I think you'll probably find that there are more choices of performance-oriented tires in 205/55-15 than 195/60-15 though.

Forget my advice, I am apparently full of misinformation. I ran 225/45/15 on my 93 prelude just fine. And again, that is why I made sure to state that my information was based on past experience and also depended on what look he was going for. I also agreed Nsx gave the CORRECT in formation.
Just because I have an old civic now doesn't mean that's the only Honda I have ever had exp with.

Dito. You can get away with 195/50/15 on an EK,EG,or DC.Won't work on an Accord or Prelude.

BTW
195/60/15 OD = 24.21
225/45/15 OD = 22.97
drop of 5.12%
Most tire sellers will tell you that 5.12% is too much... but only to cover their own ***. It works fine in reality as long as you know that there will be some very minor changes (lower ride height, higher speedometer readings, etc.). I've been riding at +4.89% for the last couple of years....
For all your size conversion questions, I HIGHLY recommend this:

Every car is designed to have a certain diameter tires in the wheel well. You can vary within 1-2 percent of that diameter without problems. Differences of 5 percent are HUGE and are asking for trouble. DON'T DO IT.
