Rusted fuel lines help
Hey everyone , I am working on a 91 honda ACCORD and trying to replace rusty fuel lines.
Can anyone tell me waht this component is? I've tried searching for about 30 minutes now and cant' find any info on it at all. All I can find is info about fuel pumps and tanks but not this piece.
The line that rusted through is the one circled in green.

1. I meant accord, sorry.
2. Because I did, because I think it's rediculous that they don't put an access hole and require the removal of the gas tank on a car that's prone to rust.

You're right, I'm glad it's not yours. I was over helping and I would have had to put up with all of you're whining and cocky attitude. Judging by you're signature you're a "know it all" failure that has a big ***** when he's behind the internet.
You sure showed all those NEWBZ! ROFL LUL
What i'm realllly curious to know is how in the almighty F*** cutting a hole like that and patching it would affect the "integrity of the car." hahahahaha. Umm... It's an accord. I'm willing to bet Honda was smart enough not to make the piece of metal on top of the fuel sender the most integral part of the car. But then again, you're a f@g. I'm sure the integrity was altered about the same amount as you cutting your rear quarters out and welding in new ones on your "no rust problem" cars.
Aside from the fact of that, I do want to say how proud I am of your for being on your 4th Honda Accord. You must really know everything about them! I'm envious! I'm so glad you're using all of that built up knowledge so well. All the grocery getting f@gots need your help! Stellar man. Stellar.

STOP BASHING. People actually leave this forum b/c of loud mouths like you that go posting a novel's worth of trash talking. Let him do what he wants with his car even if it is unsafe. His actions won't harm you. That's the end of it.
The whole idea of cutting into the body is a good idea, but I probably would have taken the tank off first, plugged the nearby fuel lines at least, and cleaned before doing it. It's a great idea since taking the tank off is a pain (i did it last winter), but the way you did it isn't very safe. The gaskets should have done the job keeping out fuel vapors, but you never know. As for the item you have circled, all I know is that it's a two-way valve, but why do you ask anyway? Isn't that hose your only problem?
