Harness Mount Bar
Does anyone know where I can get a harness Mount Bar for my 89 HF?
The companies Ive seen that make them want a whopping $430 (what a hosin') but I haven't even seen one for the CRX. Maybe an Integra will have the same dimensions???
At that $430 Id just spend another $100 and get a race cage/roll bar like this...
http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/part...ges/Race/13172
BTW I'm in the market for a couple of used race seats too like spearco, something very light
THX all

Follow-up post for those who want just a harness bar...I found them on Ebay for under $100 in case anyone is interested. Makes me rotflmao when these big time companies want $500 for such a thing especially when they of are the same install design and made of the same material.
I however have opted for an Autopower bolt in roll bar, the race version.

I would only look to a custom fabrication shop, Kirk Racing or I/O Port Racing. If you have not designed a bar yourself and do not know the correct angles and attachment point you will hurt yourself more than help yourself. It makes me "rotflmao" when people cheap out on the very item that is going to save there neck. So your life is only worth $100?
As a driving instructor, if a cage it ill thought out and put together poorly, I will not instruct in the car and will have it look at by Chief Instructor and Chief Tech.

Thanks for the sermon, the "attachment points" and "angles" are readilly available for all car crafters at scca.com. however if car crafting is not your thing then "store bought" is for you.
Dont preach your qualifications as I also have a long history of safe racing and dont know where you get the idea I would consider anything unsafe. I also believe wise spending can lead to even more safety gear. Bling doesent mean safe. Besides i will have a cage, seats and 5 point harnesses by my next track day. No stand alone harness bar.
Then why are you asking
"Does anyone know where I can get a harness Mount Bar for my 89 HF?"
If your last post said
"Besides i will have a cage, seats and 5 point harnesses by my next track day. No stand alone harness bar."
Make no sense

I decided to go ahead and put a roll bar in it due to the recomendations from my instructors. The reference to the lesser expensive (and seemingly similarly designed and built) harness bars was a follow up to the original question. Shoulda included the "follow up" note in the post.
