What springs for a 1998 GSR?
I plan on mainly daily driving but with occasional auto x and road courses. I've been told coilovers are overkill for daily driving and what duties I need to take care of with a 1998 GSR. What are the best springs for this and are springs a good or bad idea?
I plan on running stock wheels for a while but after I will go with Kosei K1 16's or 5zigen FN01R-C or Enkei RPF1+M 16's with a good sized tire.
I want the best combination of ride quality, performance and without destroying my stock shocks/struts. I do not need to have the car slammed, I just want it to have a clean tasteful lowering with versatility in mind.
What would you recommend for springs? I ran progress springs on my SRT-4 and they worked pretty good compared to Tein springs which rode TERRIBLY and didn't even perform any better.

i have no idea what "rode" means, springs have two things. height and rate. tein is a hit or miss company but thankfully they hit with the integra springs. the rates are based off the ITR and both the h and s tech are slightly stiffer than the ITR stocks. if you use your stock struts my vote would be for the tein H tech. they do a 2 finger gap all the way around & will not blow or have the car feeling too loose with stock struts. remember the lower your car goes the less suspension travel you have which of course means the more you feel in the seat.
