What will these mods bring for a 1/4 time?
I am going to be picking up an extremely clean 1998 GSR 5 speed if all goes well this month. It currently has a DC Sport Cat back and heat wrapped header but the current owner has not told me if it is a race header or a stock replacement that is wrapped. It has a KnN drop in filter.
With a good driver what should this car hit for a 1/4 time and trap MPH?
Cold air intake + DC Sport Cat Back + Race Header = ??? 1/4 and trap?
K&N Drop in + DC Sport Cat Back + Race Header = ??? 1/4 and trap?
Street tires and then with slicks (which I doubt I'd need at this power level)

Will a K&N Drop in give me as much or close to as much as a CAI? I don't want to suck up any wet stuff with a CAI and I'm not trying to break records with the Integra, just have some fun and take to the track.
bench racing? I'm just trying to get an idea so I can set my goals for the car. It's snowing where I live so I won't be able to do these things on my own. I don't need specific numbers, I just want an idea of what I should expect out of those mods.

Bench racing? Indeed it is. this topic has been covered a million times. Searching will net you a TON of results. The problem with threads like this is that are are too many variables to be able to answer your question. No one on here can know if you know how to drive or if you use decent tires for example. You're going to have to wait for spring and go to the track. Sorry
