Post 98' Accord coupe stalling

Hi,

I own a 98' Accord 2L vtec coupe.

5-6 months ago it developed an internittent stalling issue. No warnings, engine cuts out whether on drive/road/motorway.

As per other threads I have changed the ignition switch to no avail.

Does anyone have any ideas as to the problem?

Many thanks in advance

Tony

Actually i had the same problem on my 99 2.3l, but i havent had it happen in a real long time. If i remember right i cleaned out the map sensor, clean of throttle plate and ran intake system cleaner through the intake. Seemed like that fixed it. But i had same issue but mine was like one every 3 weeks very spuratic.
make sure you check your grounds every where and positive wire to the battery.
just some suggestions.

the main relay would be a more consistent problem.

Many thanks for all the advice, I think I've nailed it this time .......yes that old Main relay!!!

It was cutting power to the fuel pump circuit hence the cutting out. I have resoldered all the joints and given it a good dose of WD40 lubricant and am currently searching for a back-up (just in case)

Many thanks again
