88 ef suspension problem
Alright so I have a 88 dx hatch with b16 swap running ls tranny, I am using all stock suspension except I have 91 DA teg spindles, and coilovers, but I currently have them set to stock height. So this has been going on for a while but I didn't notice till mechanic at an alignment shop told me. When I give car throttle .(normal driving) at initial take off from 0mph thw front wheels jerk slightly to rear of wheel well, when I go in reverse it does the same but wheels go to front of wheel well. When in the car u cfeel car jerk when u give I throttle at any speed, but when I say give it throttle I mean like if I let go of gas pedal and let decelerate and then give gas u can feel wheels jerk, u even feel when. U just letoff gas pedal. What controls wheel from moving forward or back in wheel well
there should be two radius arms coming off the front lower cross member on the car and bolting to the lower control arms.. those are what keep the suspension from moving forward and back.. if you have an aftermarket traction bar then it should have adjustable radius arms for adjusting caster on the vehicle... there are bushings in the front cross memeber on the stock one which could be busted or be loose i suppose causing the movement you are seeing
