ash tray light on 95 teg
Pop the tray out and have a look to see if the bulb is out or if the connector is loose:
1) Pull out the ashtray, all the way
2) You can see three screws behind where the ashtray was, unscrew the two outer screws (I think you can leave the center one in)
3) Pull out the ashtray/lighter assembly and disconnect the connector. Inspect the connector for loose wires and inspect the ash tray lightbulb (I think it's a bulb -- if it's an LED you know you've got a bad connection).
If you have a multimeter you could try to do some continuity testing if the bulb seems OK.

it is a bulb, and excelent advice!
I gotta go check on mine..I didn't even know there was a light bulb there till i read some thread. My cig lights up when ever it wants too. Hopefully sometime soon i'll replace all my bulbs for climate control, ash tray and cig lighter. I hate how I have to tap at the top of the C.C to turn on a few lights on the controls
It can't be anything too exotic -- it's not like Honda makes their own. I'd try either a RadioShack, a hardware store, or an auto parts store. Failing that, I'm sure the internets has one or two lying around.
