I got a clean 99 integra gsr coupe. I was offered an neon srt-4 for trade would you do it. I was looking for a four door either honda or acura. Are neon srt reliable or are they a piece of crap.

 

I don't know if they are reliable, but they are loud and fast, and that's kinda hard to argue with.

Actually, I wouldn't. I love my 'Teg too much, and I really doubt that the SRT4 is better in any way other than being faster and louder, but I could understand how someone would want to trade.

 

i luv my dc2 but i need a bigger car would u go for the srt.

 

DO NOT TRADE! A neon is a disposable car, it may be fast now, but it wont last like a Honda. I have owned both. I will never buy a Neon again. The quality and overall appeal is lacking. My personal opinion

 

no srt-4 i heard there junk and the tranmissions are garbage, look into a 4 door g35 i had a g35 coupe and loved it or find a db gsr there rare but you might come across one good luck

 

Don't do it, their JUNK. You'll have tons of transmission issues along with other issues. Keep your DC2 you can always make it louder and faster if you want.

Neons are junk and are NOT fast!
They break more frequently, are ugly and most importantly are a NEON!

go to a neon forum and see all the trans problems and questions! Like someone else said, see if you can find a DB8 or four door Teg

 

ive been looking for db8 but they are hard to find and mostly all of them are salvage cars im looking for a clean car. If anyone knows of someone in the socal area hit me up.

 

SRT-4's are junk, and most of the OEM parts are discontinued. I couldnt even get a part for a factory recall the last year i owned my neon because chrysler discontinued the part. And it was related to the suspension no less.
