my biggest problem is that my current harness is a pile of crap, there is 280,000 miles on my car and the wiring defiantly shows it. basically i would be replacing just about every wire in the harness anyway and it seems a lot more efficient just to buy one that is already done.

dude.... just cause the plastic around the wires looks rough... doesnt mean the wires are..
my last car i did this to had 240000 miles... did the swap and ran it for another 30000 miles without a hitch... i wrecked it...
the wires were fine...

well, its not the crap on the outside, its the actual wires. when they get bent at al the covering material falls off.. so they need completely redone.
ive seen this on a boat once... it was a 1968 with an outboard... a mouse ate all the insulation off...
but never in my life have i seen a civic with brittle wires.
then it must mean that it's IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!
the insulation tends to get dried over the years, add in the heat from the engine, gearbox, etc and your wiring will start to become less than "flexible". i
t'll still work, but if you have ever tried pulling any of the plugs from the back of the block off an engine that has 200,000+ miles and has never had the engine harness removed...You'll know that it takes it's toll.
$130 is a lot of coin for a harness. go to a junk yard and try to source one from a car. it'll be hit or miss, but it'll be cheaper.
Or, just redo all the wiring yourself. It's a helluva learning experience and will teach more than what could be purchased. I rewired my engine and entire car... sucked, but I now know how to solder properly, make good connections, trace wires, loom cleanly, use a voltmeter, and know exactly what wire goes where.

i really dont need to learn anything about wiring, and yes it is possible i know this because it happened to me.

-basically it got brittle then bent around and now its ****.
im really not looking for you guys to tell me just to do it on my own, i am trying to find someone that has used him before and get some sort of good or bad from there experience using him.
i pretty much have a week (7 days) to get my car back on the road and i would like a day or 2 to drive it to make sure everything is perfect. i will be doing more than a dpfi/mpfi swap. time frame is a huge issue because i will be doing
-motor swap (d15b2 to d16 vtec)
-full car audio install (4 channel amp, front/rear components, sub, possibly build a sub box
- rear brakes
-cluster swap
-weight reduction
and a few other things
