so my tranny is being stupid! i cant shift into gear if the rpm is higher then 3k an tats with all gears!! wat could tat be? an my 5th gear pops out randomly wen im driving too! makes me seem like i wanna race people! wen it revs!

so i got my hands on a b16 lsd tranny! is there any major mods i would have to do to swap them over?

the b16 tranny has shorter gear ratios than the gsr but the b16 tranny fith gear sucks. you'll be driving at 80 mph at around 5k rpms

 

Car is going to accelerate faster with the B16 box. If 5th gear on the highway bothers you, swap them.

 

me and my friend put a gsr with a b16 tranny in his del sol nd it works just fine its really quick

 

no mod's needed, direct bolt on, you're going to have alot more fun

 

so we got the tranny in!! but now the clutch cable wont go back enough so it wont go into gear!! help!!!! lol do i need the b16 cable?

 

still cant figure it out! did i put the clutch backwards!?
heres wat happens the car turns on but then wen u try to put it into gear it wont go in!! i ajusted it to the point the u cant anymore! an it still does it! if u try 3rd an 4th gear it grinds an i tryd the 1st once to push it in an wen i got it the car turnd off! wats goin on!

 

could it bee, my pressure plate? it had a crack in it could tat be the problem?
