Well, i bought a new axle hoping it would fix the noise that i thought was the axle. When i got it all tore down, i noticed that the play in the axle is actually where the axle enters the tranny. Is the bushing that the axle goes into thats inside the transmission hard to remove and replace? Do i need to remove the side of the transmission to access it?

 

Has anybody had this problem before?
