Del sol brake problem
Ok guys here is the deal.
I have a 96 sol si ridding on sportlines and agxs and im still on factory wheels.
Now this particular model doesnt have abs as im sure most of you know. (not that i like civic abs)
Now here is the problem the brakes are ether on or off. so this car is deathly scary to drive in the rain... all they do is lock up.
i have driven several eg and ek civics before and never ran into this problem and i have owned several no abs cars so please no "learn how to brake flaming"
but it almost feels as if there is too much pressure in the brake system or something.
Any thoughts on how to fix this? maybe swap out the brake booster or something?
Thanks in advance

how does ur brake pedal feel? with the car running and driving? also do u know how to diassemble ur brakes (there are either two 12mm or 14mm bolts which hold the caliper piston portion of it, there are two "guide pins/slidding pins" with rubber boots at their ends make sure there are no indentations on them and that they are properly lubricated to ensure that they are free to move and prevent them from sticking, if anything im located in so. cal by angel stadium so hope this helps...
well i just got done doing a tire rotation.. and while i had the fronts off i cleaned the calipers up and put in a set my friend had laying around from his del sol before he swapped in teggy rotors and pads.
They were half worn. but surprisingly the dif pads make it better.. ill just need to order some fresh rotors and pads all the way around and see what happens..
Any pads you guys like? Iv heard good things about the EBC green stuff
