any one here uses a parts tumbler ?
I used one before but only threw parts in and took them out not actual seting up part.
Now I just bought one of my own nothing crazy just really to start off with.
My question is what media would I you use, im try to polish or clean up stainless steel Ive googled it there are people saying to use metal media some say ceramic media. There not much about what fluids to use i read some where some guy said soap and water then another said Dizonized water. so if anyone here that can help would be greatful

Step 1:
Ceramic media w/ cleaner compound
Step 2:
Porcelyn media w/ a burnishing compound

hey chris here's a picture of a set of pipes I had tumbled for just about a hour to a hour and a half . This was just with Steel media, actual the guy I bought the machine off of gave me them so I tryed it out. From what I had read online
("Steel shot is a polishing and burnishing media that produces a bright shine. It is available in a variety of shapes and sizes.")

going to contact the actual company today to see what they recomend.
This process does help me out no more wire wheeling to shine it up, I can just load up the machine and go back to working on other things
