We use one and its 2 part process in how we do it.

Step 1:
Ceramic media w/ cleaner compound

Step 2:
Porcelyn media w/ a burnishing compound

If your trying to do weld el's expect it to take the better part of the day. C&M Topline sells a variety of media as well as the chemicals.

There's no work involved just an extensive cost for the equiopment/media/chemical. Unless your doing it in bulk quantity then no its not cost/time effective.

hey chris here's a picture of a set of pipes I had tumbled for just about a hour to a hour and a half . This was just with Steel media, actual the guy I bought the machine off of gave me them so I tryed it out. From what I had read online
("Steel shot is a polishing and burnishing media that produces a bright shine. It is available in a variety of shapes and sizes.")

going to contact the actual company today to see what they recomend.

This process does help me out no more wire wheeling to shine it up, I can just load up the machine and go back to working on other things
