Default Random idle issu's

ok
I know that i need to clean my IAC, i just dont have time.
Cuz when its cold, the car idles up, then drops, idles up, then drops.
So i need to do my IAC. But another thing it is doing is when its warm is, when i roll to a stop, some times it will die. ill start it up, it will run fine, then i rev it, and when it idles down, it dies. Is that all my IAC? i know i need to fix it, but can there be another prob?

My ZC is doing the same kinda idle bouncing right now too. I checked the IACV first but it was still clean as hell. Going to check the FITV next. There's a pretty good guide on all this on Honda-Tech. https://honda-tech.com/forums/acura-integra-6/%2A%2A%2A-how-%2A%2A%2A-clean-your-fitv-aka-fast-idle-thermo-valve-1564019/

if the iacv doesnt fix the situation, you might have to adjust the fitv.

Ok, so now im back, been retarded busy with the fam and my new car. And i think ED knows i got a new car because now he is REALLY being a pain in my ***!!!

I cleaned and adjusted the FITV, then re adjusted my idle, and the car idled smooth and perfect for about 2 Days... no its right back to doing the same thing, BUT WORSE!!!
Now it studders below 3k rpm.
It feels like its only on 2 cylinders or something because i have about half the normal power and it is studdering.

But the SECOND that it hits 3k, BAM!!! i have all the power and more!! It just flys! Pulls really hard and everything.
It just started to randomly do this to me yesterday, then it will throw a CEL. But as soon as i shut the car off, its gone. And wont come back for another hour or so off driving.
WTF?

check to see what code(s) the ECU is showing - whenever you get a Check Engine Light, the code(s) are stored in the ECU and remain there until you reset the ECU - when you have a CEL and turn the ignition off, you turn off the CEL - when you restart the car, the CEL won't come back on until another (or same) problem is detected by the ECU, but the codes always remain in the ECU until it is reset

several different things, besides the EACV, can cause the fluctuating idle - could be a vacuum leak, plugged PCV valve, low coolant level, air pocket in the cooling system, to name a few

oh, haha. I did not know that! ok, ill go check those on my lunch.

I did notice something odd when i cleaned the FITV, it was dry... no moisture in the coolant lines or anything.
I checked my coolant and everything is fine...
