Default Mini me using p28

Since im using the p28 on my mini me swap, will i have to splice a4 and d6 or no? I've searched and i just get threads showing the picture from phearable show how to bypass the knock sensor. since i have a 94 dx and the p28 doesnt look for the knock sensor, i shouldnt have to splice them right?

i wouldn't just because it will hook up just fine and no need for a knock sensor. plug and go!
