Default decent all season tires

im looking to purchase a set of tires for my steelies. looking for a set of decent all season tire but winter coming out so somthingis good for winter too? size 195/60/14

For that size the best tire is probably the Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position but if you are looking for something cheaper then maybe the Fuzion HRi would be a decent choice

I agree.

The RE960AS is $72 including free shipping from Discount Tire Direct, which is pretty darn cheap. There are a few additional less expensive tires (such as the Falken Ziex in addition to the Fuzion) but you'll be taking a big step down in quality. Go for the RE960AS.

However, if you are only using your steelies in winter, and not the rest of the year, you might consider a winter tire rather than an all-season tire. Winter tires will give you much better traction than all-seasons in winter conditions such as snow, ice, and frigid cold (even on dry pavement). The Bridgestone Blizzak WS60 is available in 195/60-14.
