intake and exhaust advice

Default intake and exhaust advice

Hey guys... I need some advice on two things. and yes I did check the boards for info but I just got this to ask... 1. for a cold air intake should I go short ram or full cold air? and 2. for exhaust what would everyone recommend?

well for one since your located in california with all the smog restrictions i would buy something that was carb legal for one and not buy something that sounds and looks cool...!!!

I have never been to cali but if it rains alot get a short ram!

sorry... my bad... its a d16a6 connected to a dx tranny. I am trying to keep it carb legal so I can keep the heat off of me and rain usually isn't an issue on the central coast. its more like fog and stupid drivers.

i would recommend worldsport for the exhaust or RS*R if you're going to use it for DD.

Two aftermarket brands that have required certifications I know about are AEM - air intake, and DC - exhaust manifold.

Agreed, an more aggressive trans would do much more to driving then silly bolt ons.
