Default Taking apart the hatch...

Hey I have a 98 Gsr teg. I was wondering how do I take apart the plastic covers that cover the wiper motor area and also to gain accest to the cable that runs for the 3rd brake light on the spoiler. I was trying to do it today but gave up because I felt as I was going to break something. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

There are a bunch of clips along the edge of the plastic cowl trim. Remove those, and the wiper arms, then pull the cowl trim away.

Wiring for the LED brake light runs through the hatch lid. Pull the plastic away from the underside and you'll see it pretty quickly.
