Just picked up a set of snow tires with wheels from an ex 99 Altima SE. The lug patterns fit, however the centerbore is much looser than my 2000 DX stock rims.

Does anyone know if it's safe to run altima wheels on a honda?

I wouldn't recommend it. The center hole is what centers the wheel to the hub and you will end up with a vibration problem. You may be able to find a hub-centric ring that will fit. Check with your local America's Tire/Discount Tire dealer.
