Icon2 B18B1 starting problems (please help)

Ok, so I was on my way to pick someone up when my car would not move when i hit the gas. Then it let out a backfire and cut off. Now when I try to start it, I hear a kind of sucking noise. Like at the intake filter trying to suck something up. It trys to start but still makes the noise and stops. My first guess was no spark, maybe a bad coil. However, there is a spark. Hopefully someone on here has experienced this problem and can help me. Thanks for taking a look.

Take a look at your timing belt just to make sure you didn't jump time or snap a belt. Tough to tell with the vague description. Good luck!

Is it throwing any CELs? Can you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the Key to "On?"

sounds like it jumped a tooth on the belt or your fuel filter is clogged

I had the same problem with my it end up been the ignition rotor inside the cap, the bolt came loose and it was showing spark but it wasnt been deliver on time, also like the other guys said check the timing marks but pull the cap off and check the rotor thats a lot easier to do, if theres no fuel most likely is going to be the main relay 9 out of 10

The ignition rotor is inside the dizzy, just take off the cap and make sure the rotor its tight and that the bolt is in there
