Ok, so I have been driving this car for about 5 months now, never had any issues with it. It is a 97 ek coupe, with a turbo d16z6 built bottom end stock head. Its tuned on 13 lbs, and nothing was wrong with it NO problems whatsoever.........until this guy wanted to trade an h22 civic for it. So we ended up trading, cuz it seemed like a pretty good trade. To make a long story short, he ended up having some issues with my car and I ended up having some things go wrong with his, so we traded back. But it just so happens that in those two days of having my car it started to do something funny. Dude calls me up the first night and says its running like crap and stuff, so I told him to check the map sensor, and sure enough it fell out. So he puts it back in, starts right up idles perfect, but when you give it WOT, the rpms fall off imediately. You can kinda feather it up there and it will rev up, but not with it all the way down. I'm thinking something electrical, or fuel related. It is getting 45-50 psi of oil pressure, so the fuel pump isnt bad. Possibley the fuel filter??
thanks in advance, David

you fix it yet? i went through the same exact thing. it ended up being my cap/rotor. check the contacts, they're probably worn.
i'm assuming your cel is now longer operational. if it could, it'd probably tell you there's a random misfire.
