1997 Honda Civic EX 2 Door

What model is my motor its a 1.6 non vtec. Is it a D16Y8?

If its an EX it should have came with a Y8. Which is a 1.6L SOHC Vtec motor.

if its non-vtec its D16Y7 but if its an ex it came stock with a D16Y8 which is vtec so if u dont have the Y8 then someone swapped the motor

Should be a D16Y8.

Non vtec is D16Y7.

It will say on the block on the left hand side. Might have to wipe the dirt off it.
