How is it that with negative camber your tires can still wear fine.

Hey what up people. I got H&R (red ones) on my EG hatch and my tires are not really wearing all that good. I know people say that its because of the toe. But I dont know about that.
Ever get a shopping cart where a wheel is stuck turned in or out of where it should be and it drags? That's why toe kills tires, it's trying to roll, but it can't roll smoothly. It's having to be scraped a little sideways as it is rolled.
Camber is where the top of the tire is leaned in or out and inner or outer edge of the tire is pushed down slightly. It will wear that a little bit more, but not noticeable or enough to be an issue as long as your toe is correct. A little negative camber is good because you get a better contact patch on the tire in turns.

tires are pneumatic. unless youre running super low profile tires or extreme camber angles uncapable with any suspension, the sidewalls flex to conform to the road and will still be flat. even if theres an uneven distribution of weight, it doesnt mean its going to wear unevenly.
tires slipping wears tires, not tires rolling.
now if you do burnouts regularly, or are just focused on 1/4 mile crap, then you want as zero camber possible for maximum straight line grip and wear. i like to take turns with my car, so ill take as much camber as i can get.
you only need to get an alignment in order to fix the toe. your tires will be fine then.
do it asap tho. your eating your tires because of that change in toe.
leave the camber alone.
any change in ride height changes camber.
any change in camber changes toe.
any change in toe requires a new alignment.
