i have a 99 civic ex and it has stock Honda head unit in it. i know some will it is crap but for some reason the head unit doesn't lit when the light are ON and all other lights are ON. is it a common problem? or there is some fuse issue here? thanks for help

 

never had that problem but if you want my stock headunit ill sell it for next to nothing

 

nah.. if I am going to replace I like to something newer with an aux interface.. can you point me to a DIY that shows/explains how to replace the head unit in a 6th gen civic??? thanks.

 

i think if you buy your headunit on http://www.onlinecarstereo.com you can get the wiring adapter for the honda stock harness without cutting wires so its all plug and play simple as pie
