1991 Accord ghost
On a 1991 Honda Accord EX automatic, is the CEL supposed to come on for 2 seconds for self-check? Or not on Hondas?
I was running a little seafoam down the pcv valve tube into the f22a4's intake. I shut it off for 5 minutes, started it up, and it popped a couple times, then no spark. I wasn't getting any CEL when i turned the ignition to the "on" position. I disconnected ECM and powered the CEL wire, and the light in the dash is good. So I swapped ECM's and still no CEL. I am getting power to the ECM, i'm just not sure which all wires are supposed to be hot to the ECM. It seems like the main relay is working (fuel pump primes), and i have power to the ignitor, and the coil tests out good. Any common problems with these?
(Yes I checked ALL panel fuses inside and in engine bay, don't know about fusable links though.) Thanks guys.
