Heres my question.
can i run stage 2 cams without getting new springs and retainers on a b18b?

since springs and retainers just make it so that my engine wont crap out after i go past the stock rev limit, could i get new cams without the retainers and springs and just keep the red line at 8k?
at least for a month or so until i have the money for the springs and retainers?

 

If u ask me I would wait. get the springs ang retainers then do it why do things two times when u can do it once.....what about the vavles.Or u keeping them stock.

 

just do it all at once. i wouldnt wanna run the risk of runing something just for a month of use. you also wont have to buy gaskets twice then too.
