GSR seats not fitting in my 90 crx si
sup guys, workin on my seats right now...took out the front passenger side seat, and the GSR seat rails match up with one bolt. am i supposed to use the stock CRX seat rails? how do i do that? or something else? also, whats the stuff under the passenger side seat? theres like a little black rectangular box thing..maybe a stock amp? and there also was harness connected to the seat underneath the seat...what is that and is it safe to have it unconnected?
thanks
thanks
i am not aware of a stock amp in any CRX, and it wouldn't be integrated into the seat. remove your stock CRX brackets from the underside of the seats by removing 4 gold 12mm bolts. the brackets come right off, attached to each other by a wire for the sliding mechanism. i do not know if these brackets will bolt to the underside of the GSR seat, however, it is a good possibility because honda is cheap and doesn't change things often. (gotta love 'em!) if things don't work out, the great part is that it is the passenger side, and **** passengers! just kidding. good luck.
The wire harness that are connected to the seats is for the seatbelt indactor light that should be on top of your roof near the Rear View. Its just to let you know that you dont have the seat belt on. Hope that helps
man thats weird, i always see posts of guys with GSR seats in their CRXs...it didnt seem like they went through all this trouble...maybe somethings wrong with my seat!
