si/dx engine wiring harness

Default si/dx engine wiring harness

What are the differences between si and dx. They look the same to me. Could I modify a dx harness to work on a si? Input is appreciated

i think theres a plug difference where it plugs in near the fusebox and the dx was dpfi and si was mpfi you can make your dx harness a mpfi harness

one is dpfi and one is mpfi

the Si engine harness has 3 connectors at the passenger side firewall connection - the DX harness has only 2 connectors

the Si harness has a round 8 wire connector (88 CRX Si has rectangular 6-wire) at the driver's side firewall connection - the DX harness has a round 14-wire connector

the Si harness has a round 7-wire connector at the distributor - the DX harness has a rectangular 5-wire connector

the Si harness has a rectangular green connector for the injector resistor box - the DX doesn't have this connector

the Si harness has 4 fuel injector connectors - the DX has 2 injector connectors

Si passenger side connectors:

so instead of adding wires for mpfi swap
is it possible to put a crx si underdash harness in with the si engine harness?
im trying to right now..
but im not having much luck..

Thanks but i should have been more clear, i have an a6 swap ready to go in my 91 dx, and i just need to know what colors on the dx harness match with the si plug(s)

what is the 3rd little one for? trying to convert this harness to dx mpfi and obd1
