1.6L D16 Intake MAnifold onto a D15z1 motor

Post 1.6L D16 Intake MAnifold onto a D15z1 motor

Hi i got a question, i got a spare D16 Vtec 1.6Liter Intake manifold on the side and was wondering if it would bolt up to my D15z1 engine.


I got all the Map TP, IAC, etc sensors and it looks like the D16 intake manifold all are alike to the one on my D15z1 intake manifold.

connectors, also most of the vacuum hoses and stuff look like alike accept for one, also components fuel systems line up but bigger and more better,

Do i have to eliminate the ERG System?
or can i tap and make a small pipe to that only one vacuum hose?

How much power will i make if i do put my spare d16 Vtec intake manifold on to it?
it looks slightly hella looks bigger

you'll get a cel for the egr not being connected
which 1.6 liter the y8 or the z6, if that's your only mod it's not going to make much power. the z1 is for fuel efficiency.

im not sure, but i think its the D16z6 one, everything hoses, sensors look all the same with the D15z1 motor, but eccept one EGR solenoid hose near the center of the firewall. all vacuum hoses accept for that one.

Is there a way to eliminate the EGR system without getting a check engine light.


Is there a way to trick the ECU. without swaping it?
