I have installed a d16a6 in my little sandrail and i had everything working pretty good except she was blowin a little black smoke, runnin rich. i tried to bypass map sensor because it wouldnt run with it but it would without. but the ecu was shootin map sensor code. anyways i was wondering if anyone could help with a way to reprogram or somehow make the ecu work without map sensor or any other sensors at that. thanx

 

did you try a new or different map sensor? your still gonna need to use a couple sensors to make it run, like the cps and the cas that is inside the distributor and the tps, the O2 sensor can be unhooked along with the AIT sensor and it should still run fine, is that motor obd 1? you might be able to get a hondata but who wants a laptop on an off road sandrail
