Just got it back from a shop, but im building a d16z6, wit vitara pistons, eagle h beam rods, and golden eagle block guard. Compression ratio 8:5....

yes im going turbo, big 35r :] and yes they hot tanked it, the exterior looks okay...and really??? whats wrong with the block guards? i heard they decent and most people got them lol.

yeah the one my friend got on ebay, his car overheats all the time. and fhuking viet yours looks nice! i just ordered my arp head studs and a stage 2 crower turbo cam.

Plans for my head- Z6 head- ported n polished- Stage 2 Crower turbo cam, with new valve springs and retainers. My intake mani is going to be a skunk 2 mani and skunk 2 throttle body.. What are plans for your head?

clean block. i have a friend with a 92 eg hatch with the 1.5l sohc non vtec who is planning on doing a vitara build.

 

i got it done at a shop at APEX, BENSENVILLE,IL.. its a popular shop actually.. Im looking to go for 400 whp or more :}

bump for u bro because i have a original 1992 si hatch too i want to see how much boost and how much hp u can get out of that single head. Keep me on the updates i might follow your foot steps if u push at least 300hp

 

thank you!! i will keep all of you guys updated, but my build is going slow, no need in a rush, its gonna be done in the summer time :].. I paid $616 for labor at a shop to put in the pistons, rods, blockguard, crank, main caps, etc... and to clean it all up. Was quite expensive!
