Valve Stem Base Seal Question
I had a local shop put two new tirerack tires on rims I already had. They put new valve stems on. On both, if i push the valve stem to the side, I hear hissing out of the stem base. The shaft isn't cracked, but it is coming out of the seal.
None of my other tires do this... before I walk into the shop asking them to redo the mount I want to make sure this is a legit problem. I mean, it seems like they're not losing pressure otherwise.

thanks
Man, this really pisses me off. Aside...Do any private shops do good work anymore? I do most of my own work, but it seems like whenever taking it to shops nowadays it's nothing but problems and multiple returns. Honest to god I cant even get my oil changed mid winter anymore without someone stripping out my oilpan or forgetting to put a washer back on.
