mileage isn't really THAT important on a honda, is it in NYC? if so then it has see the elements of roadsalt and such. I probably wouldn't offer anything near 8k, probably closer to 6-6500 depending on the body condition and interior.

I have already offered him 6500. He declined.
Body and interior was in pretty decent shape. From what I can recall, I think rusts started to form.
The most I'd pay is about 6800 tops. It's on b20vtec.com.
haha
Don't be a typical honda lowballer, yeah it's got high miles but it's all original and you say the interior is as spotless as one off the showroom floor, if the man wants 8,000 pay 8,000 for it (clean title permitting). You have another c5 so the mileage shouldn't even really be that big of a concern. I've seen clean title shells in worse condition go for $5500 and sometimes more at auctions.

I don't think I would go much higher, but then again I would have to see it.

11/10 means better than perfect, so somehow in that 186k miles the interior became better than brand new . . . but remained stock . . . remember bone stock
man, When I bought the civic ex with 23.1mi on the odometer, I already got the interior dirty. I put my lardy butt right in the seat...it got dirty.
here's the deal dude, at 180k it'll never be a collectors piece, so you say it's in good shape? a fresh hone and new rings and replacing a few other failure items might not be a bad idea, either way this would be aligned to be an ITR that you could drive and drive with zero mileage remorse. That's why all of my ITR's have been 100k+ just so I don't sit there and cry every time the odometer rolls the next 1000 miles.
Would I pay 8k for it? not really but if that's what it is worth it to you then I would.

i'd buy it and replace all the bushings, those are sure to be worn. other than that throw your swap in and enjoy the caR
then either rebuild the stock c5 or sell it to someone who will.

I would probably go the route of selling your current swap if the motor in the car is the original and just rebuilding that one instead. Original vins are for teh win.
