? My buddy is upgrading his EG suspension. He currently has Ground Control sleeves and springs with Koni Red.

I know EG and EF shocks are different... but
I was thinking about buying the GC sleeves & springs.


Are the sleeves & springs(besides spring rates) universal to EF/EG/EK/DA/DC?
Would the sleeves & springs work on my EF?
I'll be getting new Koni yellow shocks.

 

i had an EK ground control set up on my old 89HB and the ride was a little bumpy as well as the rears didnt look right. but that might have been because i didnt adjust them right. they fit no problem tho.

 

don't forget you need to use the eg forks for the front shocks. the mounting hole for the shock to fork are different between eg and ef. (eg bigger, ef smaller)

 

the gc sleeves that install with koni reds are normal type kit from GC.

with yellows, its recommended you use the koni specific GC kit.
