Civic seat rails vs. Integra seat rails

So come to find out the ek civic seats rails are different from the integra 94-01.

WTF... Y would they do that..

Civic are wider...
Integra narrower...

all seat rails are different.
i have a recaro seat with supposed "92-00" seat rails,
and only 1 whole lines up.

I guess what i need to find out is... will the rails off the original seats work with the recaro style seat..
