Default Tilton Hydro T/O bearing ?????

Hi Guys , I wanted to know if the tilton t/o bearing kit for the B series will work with any twin disc clutch or just tilton twins ? I was thinking about going this route because Iam sick of having problems sometimes with my clutch peddle coming back up do to such the short throw I have it set to.

The tilton bearing should work with any b series clutch.

i put a comp clutch in place of a tilton clutch and the tilton hydro t/o bearing worked perfect.

i dont see why it wouldnt work, but if you ask tilton, they will tell you it only works with their clutch.

yeah tilton has always told me it won't work -- but that is in their best interest -- no reason they should have to take phone calls on their release bearing install problems if someone is trying to install it on another b series clutch, just makes good business sense

or they could go out and verify that it will work on a set list of clutches and open the market up a bit more for sales but that sounds pretty time and labor intensive, not sure if that would be worth it.

I've always been a firm believer in "trial and error"... If you wanna know what works and what doesnt, try it... if it works, great! if not, oh well... Just gets a bit expensive sometimes if you are the one footing the bill for the trials, especially in this hobby...

shaved down??? As far as I know the t/o included with the CC twin kit is the exact same as the OEM t/o.... Thats what I am currently running, and they looked identical to me... Next time I pull it apart, I will have to measure it... I'm curious now lol

They just cut the plastic part back in the center bore so it dosent stick out past the steel bearing part , because the fingers are langer on the twin disc from what I was told by C.C.

has anyone used the tilton t/o with an s2000 clutch mc?

edit. ok so the s2000 m/c is 5/8'' but tilton recommends 3/4'' so i guess it rules out the s2000 m/c

ok so ima ask with the twin disk whats the main issue with an OEM release bearing because ive been through 2 in a year now, and a pilot bearing now. could this be an issue with the center gears of my clutch they keep getting stripped out as well?
