Default Oil Leak

I have been working on a 99 accord v6. I have found oil leaking down the block. It is where the oil filter mount joins the block. I was wondering if there is some form of seal there and how it might be fixed?

My 92 Accord I just picked up does the same thing. It's just a gasket.

I know that my H22 has the oil cooler that has a O-Ring between the block and oil cooler. Mine's leaking as well, and I'll be replacing it soon since it keeps dripping onto my downpipe and it stinks after it gets burn.

Check to make sure the gasket from an old filter isn't stuck on there. I was in a hurry doing a oil change and didn't notice the old one didn't come off with the old filter. Took it for a spin and heard a loud pop when I hit 4,000 RPM the first time. Oil light came on. I was very happy (and embarrassed) to find the old gasket. And in case you don't know, you should ALWAYS rub clean oil on the gasket before installing a new filter.
